Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport is one of the 29 regional aviation hubs in China, with a Class 4E airspace area and a total runway of 3,400 meters. It has one parallel taxiway with equal length and two fast exit taxiways. The total area of the apron is about 885,000 square meters, with 78 parking spaces and 27 gallery bridges. The building area of the freight station covers about 36,000 square meters, with two terminals. The airport has a designed annual passenger capacity of 13.5 million, with 175,000 tons of cargo and mail capacity. Shijiazhuang Airport officially opened on February 18, 1995. In March 1996, the Shijiazhuang aviation port officially opened to the outside world. In July 2008, Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport was renamed "Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport". In 2018, with the passenger throughput exceeding 11.33 million, Shijiazhuang Airport reached 10 million throughput level. At present, Shijiazhuang Airport has operated 129 routes in 84 cities.
