At present, Changchun Airport has been operating in 110 cities at home and abroad, running 47 airlines and 187 routes. The aviation network has covered the "three major economic circles" and "four major airport groups" in the Bohai Rim, Yangtze River Delta, and Pearl River Delta regions and regional airports such as Changbaishan, Tonghua, and Baicheng continue to reach Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and economically advanced cities in coastal areas. Changchun Airport and Yanji Airport have formed two major port opening windows for external liaison in the province and gradually formed an air traffic network with Changchun as the center, radiating across China, making a presence in Northeast Asia, connecting major countries in Southeast Asia and key cities in Russia, which is of great significance for driving the airport industry in Jilin Province and leading the economic restructuring and industrial transformation and upgrading.

In 2021, Changchun Longjia International Airport won two international awards, namely, the Best Airport Award in Asia-Pacific Region in the 5 to 15 million passengers per year category and the Voice of the Customer award, issued by the International Airport Association (ACI) in 2020, which were recorded in the development history of Jilin Civil Aviation Airport Group.
