Yichun Mingyueshan Airport, which started to be built in 2009 and was completed in 2012, was officially opened on June 26, 2013. Yichun Mingyueshan Airport has a runway length of 2,400 meters, a total terminal building area of 7,160 square meters, and 11 stands, which can handle an annual throughput of 400,000 passengers. Now nine routes have been opened, covering 18 popular cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. In 2017, the apron expansion project was started. After the expansion, Yichun Mingyueshan Airport can handle a throughput of one million passengers entering and leaving Hong Kong. The second phase expansion project of the airport was started in 2020.
