Beijing Capital Airport Power & Energy Co., Ltd., a specialized airport security company under Capital Airports Holdings Limited, was established in 2000. It is the first regional comprehensive energy service enterprise operated by companies in the civil aviation industry. It was restructured and reorganized in 2005 and became an independent legal entity.

The company has eight functional departments, one directly affiliated unit, six branches, and two wholly-owned subsidiaries, with nearly 1,300 employees, and 64% of them have professional titles and skill levels. The Company is mainly responsible for energy security, equipment and facilities operation and maintenance services such as water supply, power supply, gas supply, cooling, heating, sewage treatment, and reclaimed water reuse of Capital Airport and Daxing Airport, with a total jurisdiction area of 54 square kilometers. In addition, the Company also relies on two subsidiaries to get involved in energy-saving services and drinking water.

The Company has passed the certification of the quality management system, environmental management system, occupational health and safety management system, energy management system and carbon emission management system, established a five-in-one comprehensive management system architecture and passed the SMS external audit in 2022.

In recent years, the Company has been awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Collectives of Air Transport Support for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics" by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and has continuously maintained the title of Winning Unit in the national “Ankang Cup” competition. In the field of integrated energy operation, innovative management modes such as "4+10+(8+N)" core equipment life cycle management, the responsibility-specific, operational, national, and grid-enabled gas safety work, and the 3RV model have been refined and formed. The Company won the "National 2020-2021 Operation and Maintenance Service Demonstration Enterprise" award and IDC China Future Operation Leader Outstanding Case Award, and its self-developed AEMS system was included in the list of new technologies and new products (services) in Beijing.
